Brain, Sleep & Cognitive Health
Focus, sleep quality, and long-term cognitive health, evaluated rather than assumed
Evaluation of focus, memory, mood, and sleep quality, along with the hormonal, metabolic, and vascular factors that influence them.
Cognitive and sleep symptoms are worked up rather than attributed to age. Testing may cover thyroid, hormones, metabolic markers, inflammation, and nutrient levels, alongside a detailed sleep and medication history. You begin by ordering your Recalibrate Medicine comprehensive lab panel, completing a simple online form providing your medical history, symptoms and goals. Once your lab panel results are complete, we help you schedule a consultation with Dr. Mooney. He reviews the lab panel results, with you, himself, explains what each marker means, and recommends treatment and next steps based upon your labs, your symptoms, your needs and your goals. Your questions are addressed and answered. One-on-one care.
Identifying a contributing factor makes it possible to address that factor directly. Symptoms are then tracked over time instead of assumed to be permanent.

Common questions about brain, sleep & cognitive health
Adults noticing changes in focus, word recall, mental stamina, or sleep quality, and anyone concerned about long-term brain health because of family history.
The visit covers sleep patterns, stress, medications, and daily demands in detail, since all of those shape both symptoms and lab results.
Lab results are generally back within about a week. Sleep and cognitive symptoms are reassessed over months, because change here tends to be gradual.
This care does not diagnose or treat dementia, and it does not replace testing for primary sleep disorders such as sleep apnea. If your history points toward either, you will be referred for the appropriate evaluation.
Follow-up looks at whether your symptoms and your markers are moving in the same direction, and referrals are made when another specialty is the better fit.
